In the quest to address climate change, companies are becoming increasingly aware that in addition to decarbonizing their operations and value chain, carbon dioxide removal (CDR) must be part of any net zero strategy. This aims to address their hard-to-abate emissions alongside emissions reductions. However, the reality on the ground is that CDR is still a nascent industry with a large number of small technology developers, most of whom are in the R&D or early deployment phase.
